Focus on Operational Readiness
TSNRP will host the 9th Research and Evidence-Based Practice Dissemination Course from April 4-6, 2023, at The Menger Hotel in San Antonio, TX. This course will have both in-person and virtual offerings, according to the latest Department of Defense meeting guidelines. The TSNRP staff is focused on an in-person course for 200 attendees, with virtual offerings for those who are unable to travel due to funding or operational demands.
This course will focus on the theme "Operational Readiness," and feature keynote lectures by military nursing leaders and clinical experts, a live poster session, and meetings and presentations sponsored by the TSNRP Research Interest Groups. COL(ret) Geoffrey Ling, who served as the founding director of the DARPA Biological Technologies Office, is a confirmed keynote speaker. Other keynote speakers will be announced closer to the date of the course. In addition, wellness activities will be offered, to include a walk/run, meditation, core workout and more.
TSNRP has limited travel fund available for this course which will be reserved for qualifying speakers and leaders. It is advised that you seek travel funds from your command or other sources to attend this course.
